It all began with a new moon…

My journey began on my birthday at a time when my life felt like it was falling apart. My birthday fell on a New Moon in Scorpio, which I’d read was supposed to be particularly powerful for manifesting. So, I made a simple commitment to myself that I would journal on the new moon and full moon for the next six months. I was hoping to find clarity, but little did I know that my whole life would transform.

Before long, my simple, twice-a-month journaling led me down a mystical rabbit hole, which included becoming a certified Shamanic Energy Practitioner, hosting moon circles, and working for a shaman who literally wrote the book on crystals (and who happened to be Goop’s in-house shaman). I was also featured for crystal readings at events for Create & Cultivate, PopSugar, Urban Outfitters, and more. 

Over and over, I was told stories about how my teachings of the moon's phases, crystals, and self-care practices helped people create powerful growth and change in their lives, and I realized that I had something special to share. But, I still didn’t know exactly what that meant.

When the pandemic hit, personal wellness and spirituality became more important than ever. I was inspired to reimagine how I could share my practices with the world during this challenging time — to help people find self-care, manifestation, and transformation from the comfort and safety of their homes. And thus began Lunar Alignment.
